Overcome with Worth

by Christina Hubbard

So we are overcome

By the wave

Of gratitude,

For creative gifting,

God-breathed worth.

We bow our lives

The struggle undoing us,

What compassion You have

For fragile hearts.

Love from a Fellow Creative

For too long, I couldn’t put value to my creative writing until someone else had seen it and how told me they found value in it. I’ve been thinking about how such an attitude has affected my productivity. God gifted me with the ability to write and I’m invited to create alongside Him! Could it be that all God wants from us as creatives is simply to create? For me, that means writing with an eye to pleasing God and no one else. I’m learning to trust He’ll show me when, where and how to share it with others.

Ingrid Lochamire, writer & artist.

When Jesus got the news, he slipped away by boat to an out-of-the-way place by himself. But unsuccessfully—someone saw him and the word got around. Soon a lot of people from the nearby villages walked around the lake to where he was. When he saw them coming, he was overcome with pity and healed their sick. Matthew 14:13-14 The Message (MSG)

Have you ever been overcome by God’s love for you?
