Fly: Where the World Cannot Hurt You // Day 14

Light-hearted boy,

Soar up where you belong with birds.

The world cannot hold you here.

It’s hurts cannot bind your mind.

The plane’s wings are your arms,

The cabin, your solace

To see.

Where only weightless hearts can fly

By rivers, fields,

Cities, streets,

To star-speckled

Nights and dawns:

The dreams you feel up there.

This is the boy you have always been and always will.

Fly, lifted,

Life skipping freely.

Light-hearted boy—

I kiss you.

Go fly.
